Spacious room with a balcony and a large bathroom, perfect for relaxing. the food is fantastic here, and there is a good variety to choose from. the pool area is really nice too, great for chilling out and enjoying some time in the water! 🏊‍♂️.

The staff here was super friendly and always ready to assist, and the room was beautiful, cozy, and had a comfy bed and great internet connection, making us feel right at home with its stunning panoramic view.

Perfect environment, perfect premises, perfect landscape

Gorgeous classic hotel with nice views over the hills. Reasonably large and absolutely gorgeous room with a shared bathroom. Great and lovely location in a restored castle on top of a hill, easy to get anywhere.

We loved the comforts of this classy hotel. The food was FINE and there were variety of dishes in the menu. The location was stunning and great, on top of everything the waffles for dessert, it's a plus.

This place offers beautifully decorated units with gorgeous panoramic views of the mountains.

The view is spectacular, the little town is within walking distance.

Not so much, was disappointed. THe jacuzzi was not in working order, the pool was dirty and the noise of terrasse being under the room balcony was disturbing. Breakfast was not up to a 4 star hotel standard

The view from the bedroom window as we had a loggia room. Food was good.Setting spectacular. Good facilities but decor in rooms could do with an update.Good attention to detail and very pleasing and restful. Could be less expensive (breakfast price is outrageous)

In the evening, if dinner guests stayed late , noise from verandah bothered us- this only happened once and the noise abated after 11.30pm.

The superior queen room was a pleasant surprise with amenities like a mini-bar, central heating, and a TV.

Panoramic view + quiet environment

The view from the terrace at La Bastide is magnificent. The people in the hotel are very friendly and make you feel very welcome. Compared to most compatriotes they speak English very well. The restaurant has a warm romantic atmosphere in the evening, but the chique dinner must be your thing.

The price of the buffet breakfast at EUR 17 pp raised some expectations and the buffet came over a bit poor in view of that price. Eggs or crudites are not included. When you want to eat an egg with your breakfast, the menu offers additional options of ordering two at a surcharge of EUR 5 pp. If you want some raw bacon on the baguette, count with another such surcharge. A family of four thus could easily spend EUR 100 on a single breakfast. Alternatives in the village are worth the short morning walk. The wifi was not available due to a storm the previous day. It was guaranteed to be up and running again Demain. But Demain it was not and also Apres Demain it was not.
